1. 不論斷,卻真心的讚美

據說國際的攝影司Edward Steichen原本只是個攝影傻瓜, 他在十六歲那年, 曾為他家人拍五十張照片, 沖洗之後, 竟只洗出了妹妹彈鋼琴的那一張, 其餘的四十九張全部失敗。

他 父親很生氣,直說全部都被他搞砸了! 唯獨他母親一反常人, 一直不斷地稱讚他唯一成功洗出來的那張, 說: "你這張拍得真好, 光這一張的價值就抵過其餘失敗的四十九張了!" 就因著這句話, Steichen保住了對攝影的偏好, 並把攝影當作終生努力的方向, 而成為享譽全球的攝影家。

單純不是不機靈，而是在靈巧像蛇之餘，同時保有馴良與誠實的心；

單純不是胸無大志，而是專注、執著於一個動機純正的目標；

單純不是遠離俗世，而是能夠活在當下卻出汙泥而不染；

單純不是思慮不足，而是懂得凡事交托，而不杞人憂天；

單純亦不是對人不設防，而是懂得在自保之餘卻不參與鬥爭的行列，持守住一顆良善的心。

AF 動向 - Mark your calendar

1. AF Name Change 投票 - 2/16

• Voting will take place during our Feb. general meeting. All AF members with regular attendance of 40% or above can vote. Those can't make it to the meeting may cast your votes by emailing Jerry Lee by 2/15 (Thurs).
  
• All proposed new names will be announced during February's fellowship meetings and through email, and posted on the bulletin board.
  
• You may vote to retain the name CSAF, or vote for the new names. There will be several rounds.
• Name which receives the highest vote and 60% or more votes will be AF's new name; without 60% or more votes, CSAF will retain existing name.

2. "Praise Celebration 55" - 3/25 (Sun)

• Praise time for all Chinese-Speaking Fellowships.
• During the FCBC 55th anniversary praise afternoon, CSAF will lead singspiration for two songs. (Click below links to listen to the tunes.)
