2008/2

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Since the Beijing Olympic is scheduled to start on August 8, 2008, athletes are now training vigorously to get ready for the races in order to win the medals. As Christians, we are also in a race. Apostle Paul said, "Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win" (1 Cor 9:24). What races are Christians in? One race track I know is to "go and make disciples" (Mt 28:19). This year is the time for us to GO ... to go on a short-term mission.

We are planning for a short-term mission trip with CNEC Macau (中華傳道會澳門堂) right after the Beijing Olympic Games. Tentatively, the team will depart on August 23 (Sat) from LAX and return on August 31 (Sun) to Los Angeles.

During the trip, we will be involved with:

- Street gospel sharing
- Evangelize to gamblers
- Visit and evangelize to prisoners

** Proper trainings will be provided.

Please prayerfully consider joining this mission work. Application will be accepted no later than Feb 9 and only the first ten (10) qualified applicants will be accepted.
